About funa
Funa is a lightweight platform for locating your mobile device. It offers real-time location tracking, allowing you to easily locate any of your Android devices that have the Funa mobile app installed.
Note: Funa is a personal project developed to showcase my skills and is not intended for professional or commercial use. It does not replace the default device locating features that come with your phone but builds on those foundations, offering an experience for tracking your mobile device.

How does it work?
Funa offers a comprehensive service to allow users to get the location of their android devices. With integrated Google Maps, real-time location tracking, it utilises resources from GCP (Google Cloud Platform) to offer a tracking system. For security and google privacy policy reasons, the funa mobile app does not allow access to device location in the background.
Authorising and syncing a device to your account is a seamless and quick process, as it uses a QR (Quick response) Code that is encrypted with AES encryption to link the device with your registered account. The QR code can only be scanned with the funa mobile app and is generated by the funa web app.
